Laminate Countertops

At Camrose Custom Countertops we manufacture our own laminate countertops in two styles - a square edge (PL edge) or the more popular bevel edge.

PL Edge countertops are the more basic of the finished edges on laminate countertops.  The one aspect that can be eliminated with a Bevel Edge compared to the PL Edge is the darker "seam line" present on the right angle edges.

Bevel Edge countertops offer a cleaner, more finished touch to the counter and eliminate the sharper edges that can be the cause of some injuries.  They also elimate the darker seam line present in the right angle joints of a PL Edge countertop.

High pressure laminates are an excellent material for the construction of countertops offering a very durable surface, a wide array of colors and finishes at a very attractive price relative to alternatives.  We deal with all the major laminate manufacturers and have a huge selection of the most popular colors in our showroom.  However, should you select a laminate not in our normal stock, we can easily source it through our network of distributors.  With the type of countertops we manufacture, we can most often construct the top without a single seam in average sized kitchens.  Even in larger kitchens, there is typically a single seam.  This contrasts with postform type countertops where every corner will have a mitered 45 degree cut/seam.

Given the literally hundreds of colors and finishes of laminates on the market today, it is impractical for us to attempt to display this variety but if you want to check out some the major manufacturer's websites, there are links below where you can browse through their selections.  We do find that choosing laminate is something that ultimately you need to look at sample pieces even if you can narrow down your search online.

Stone and Solid Surface Countertops

For those looking for an elegant upgrade, granite, quartz or a variety of man-made solid surface tops are a great option.  We can source any of these materials from leading suppliers but granite and quartz are the most popular options chosen by our customers.
